About: Lions Clubs!
Area Lions Clubs are part of the largest service organization in the world. While we have fun meeting together and working on service projects and fundraisers, we attempt to live Lion's motto, We Serve. Locally, we support children and youth through their schools and organized sports and after-school activities, and help provide backpacks, coats, shoes, and other necessities to children in need. We help address food needs for all; we volunteer at and help fund free eye clinics that provide prescription glasses at no cost to the patient. We have supported our military deployed overseas as well as veterans who are now home; we support mental health programs, cancer, and diabetes treatment, and research. We assist in serving children with pediatric cancer, and we work toward cleaning and providing a safe environment in every community.
